About Jaya

Jaya Jagannatha dasa has lived as a monastic of thirteen years in the theistic Vedanta tradition of Krishna bhakti. After monasticism, he has traveled the world—including South America, Europe, South Asia, and North America—using the scholarship and apperceptive wisdom gained from years of rigorous practice to give workshops and seminars on sacred literature like Yoga-Sutras, Bhagavad-Gita, and Bhagavat-Purana as well as offering confessorship (type) counseling for over a decade. With his charisma and archetypal jester personality, he demonstrates the relevance of sacred metaphysics of vedanta to the postmodern world with regular online classes, workshops, etc.
